Christie Nauheimer is an artist and author from Long Island, New York. She received her BFA in Painting and Drawing from SUNY Purchase in May 2023. Her artwork focuses on a few themes, all related to using high saturation in her work. She enjoys using abstraction to make work related to nature, especially water. She also enjoys making more representational work depicting traditionally very feminine ideas through fantastical images. She is excited about using an abundance of color in her paintings and using a mix of experimental methods and mediums to create a piece of art.

She is also very excited about her first self-published book, "Ultra Violet." The book is a Young Adult novel that tells the story of a college-aged girl navigating the beginning of adulthood, who also joins a girl band. The book was published on November 12th, 2023.
